Our stories
La Barraca

The gravel beach preserves its Mediterranean essence very well, with some old fishermen's houses. The history of this particular house dates back to the 1950s. It was the same fishermen who built it, bringing each of the materials they needed to build it on successive boat trips. More than half a century later, the building still remains as the first day.

The white facades and blue carpentry are the hallmarks of all the homes in this cove, which are reminiscent of the sea and give the environment a feeling of freshness and light.

Being located on the beachfront, the house is guarded by the Coastal Law, so it was only possible to carry out a 21st century refurbishment of the house, without reforms or extensions.

The Beach House
The simple interiors are enhanced thanks to the rustic furniture and the different textures of the accessories that decorate the space: soft cushions with ethnic motifs, straw hats, a wicker table, a chair with an enea seat.. All of them contribute to creating a cozy and warm atmosphere.

The house, located in La Barraca cove, in Jávea, is a privileged place with excellent views of the Island of Portitxol. The Mediterranean makes this 'alicantina' a magical place. It looks serene through its blue windows to radiate light and freshness inside."
