Delivery Terms

Where do you deliver?

We currently only deliver in the Marina Alta area (Comunidad Valenciana), in Spain. We’re working hard to expand our services nationwide. If your home is located outside of our delivery area, please don’t hesitate to contact us about the possibilities and we will look at a solution.

What are your shipping costs?

If you live in the Marina Alta area (Comunidad Valenciana) our shipping costs are included in the price.

What is the delivery time of my order?

We do everything to deliver your order as soon as possible. Each item in our furniture packs has its own lead time. The delivery time of your total order is determined by the item with the longest delivery time and stated on the product page. Since items have to be ordered from different suppliers we will collect them in our warehouse first, before they will be delivered as a package in its whole to your home. This way we can book in our assembly team and plan for one final delivery date altogether, to implement the total look at once. Depening on how busy our team is, this generally takes between 2-3 weeks. Our experts will be able to give you a more accurate planning, once we have received more information and we know all the delivery details. 

Why are some furniture packages taking longer to ship?

We have segmented our production selection based on different lead times, so some packages may be delivered faster than others. You can find an estimation of the delivery time on the product detail page for each package, or in our downloadable project guides after you’ve requested your quote.

A package composited with solely in-stock items can be delivered as fast as within 2-3 weeks, depending on how complex your project is. Other packages with “custom ordered” items generally take between 6-8 weeks weeks to receive in our warehouse, while other furniture pieces that require fabrication upon ordering can sometimes take up to 8 weeks to reach your home. Please consider another 2-3 weeks to be added on top of the regular shipping time, so we have enough time to reserve our assembly team to implement the total package in your space.

How will my order be shipped?

Your order will be shipped by our own transport company, or by our sister company Jessica Bataille Company Group, with proof of delivery. When your package is shipped, you will receive an email to let you know your order is on the way.

We deliver from Monday to Friday during normal working hours, with the exception of national festivals or holidays.

Part 1. Warehouse Collection Point

We will collect all the items in your furniture package to our warehouse first, where they will receive a rigorous quality inspection before we prepare your order to be send as a package in its totality to your address.

Part 2. Home Delivery

Within an estimated 2-3 weeks, and as soon as we have received all your items in our warehouse, we will inform you by email and give you 3 available delivery options to deliver the items to your home. Delivery is done by our assembly team, and directly to the designated space where the furniture package will be assembled according to our agreement.

Do I have to be home to receive my order?

You are responsible to make sure someone is at home at the agreed time of delivery, so the assembly team can enter and start putting everything in place.

In case you can’t be at home for any reason, you’re required to inform us about this at least 2 days prior to delivery and we will rearrange the delivery day,  or you can leave the details of a contact person who will be receiving the goods instead of you, or as a final option you can deliver a key to our warehouse (signature required), so our team is able to enter  the house on their own and get right to work.

How can I return my order?

You have the right to return items within 30 days after the day of delivery, however you need to inform us about the return within 14 days after delivery. Once you have filled the return you will have 14 days to return the item. This does not apply to business customers, personalized orders, and for example upholstered sofa’s, upholstered chairs, mattresses etc. The product can only be returned if it’s not been used and will be returned in its undamaged state. Please note that returns which are damaged during shipment or by improper packaging, we can not process. Always send the return item registered and insured. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs for returning items.

All cancellations and returns to SHOP YOUR SPACE need to be done in writing and send to the Customer Service of SHOP YOUR SPACE via e-mail or by letter. Please mention your full name and order number.

For returned orders we will charge 10% of the total of the package as our cancellation policy. After the items are received in good condition we will refund the total costs minus the 10% and within 14 days.

Send us an e-mail with your return request to hello@shopyourspace.com. Enter the following information in your return request:

  • Order number
  • Reason of return
  • Pack the item neatly and firmly and add the return form below to the package.
  • Place the address label on the box and make sure any old shipping labels are removed or no longer visible.
  • Return the package to a parcel service and request a shipping receipt. The return costs are for your own account. For extra large furniture transport, we advise to inquire about the return costs prior to ordering.
  • You also have the possibility to return items to our physical warehouse upon appointment and with a prior written return request. You’re required to inform us prior to delivering.

Can I cancel my order?

The cancellation of your order, as long as it’s not been processed, is free of any costs.

When you cancel an order after it’s been processed, we charge a 10% of the total of the order as a cancellation fee.

If you have already received the items you need to accept the package and ship the items back to us. If SHOP YOUR SPACE has received a payment we will refund you minus the 10% cancellation fee after receiving the returned order in good condition.

My order arrived damaged, what now?

All the items will arrive to our warehouse first, where a rigorous quality inspection takes places before we send the order to your home. When your order is delivered, please check the items thoroughly whilst the assembly team is there. In the rare event that your goods arrive damaged you have three options:

  • Refuse the delivery.
  • Accept the delivery but make your delivery driver aware of the damage and, when you sign for the goods, write ‘damaged’ alongside your signature on the delivery paperwork.
  • If you are unable to open and inspect the goods when you sign for your delivery please write ‘unchecked’ alongside your signature on the delivery paperwork.

Please notify us within 2 days after receiving your order. When available, please keep the shipping box including all shipping materials for insurance otherwise we cannot start a damage claim.

Send a email to hello@shopyourspace.com with pictures of the shipping box, shipping label, the damaged article and packaging materials. We will inform you how to proceed after this has been received by us.

What do I need to know about placing an order during the pandemic?

We are committed to fast and free shipping all year. We continue to make regular, critical updates to our logistics, transportation, supply chain, and other processes, while adhering to extensive health and safety measures to protect our associates as they pick, pack and ship products, to meet our demand and improve delivery speeds.

In regions that may be closed due to provisions delivery times may be longer than usual. You can find updated delivery times on the product detail page for each furniture package, and we will always keep you closely informed about your orders via e-mail.

We prioritize the safety and health of our employees and you, and implemented all necessary measures to provide a safe workplace, like enhanced cleaning and social distancing measures to supplying personal protective gear such as masks and gloves according to the state mandate
