Before becoming an interior designer, Cristina made herself a background as a attorney. Surprising? Not really, thus it was a starting point for her 360º lifechanging choice: Interior design.

This profession is wonderful and a true passion. Everything that I live moves me in some way, but above all, nature, biomimicry. In nature we find everything we need and we have to learn from it.
Cristina’s must is the local clay.
“Botjios are crafted in the mediterranean for centuries. They are traditionally used to keep water cool in summer.

In Jardín de la Albarda I find my inspiration. For the mix of landscaping style, art and emotion.

Cinema cannot be absent from my life. "Call me by your name" is my reference in terms of interior architecture, photography, authenticity and sensitivity.

When I have a project, I always imagine how the room is going to be lived in. I imagine the aroma of the house, the families doing everyday things, spending the holidays with friends ... That helps me choose the pieces, the furniture, the art, the textiles, to prepare the scenarios as a visual poetry.

Ricardo Bofill
Ricardo Bofill is one of my references. I find the La Cementera project very interesting. Converting a "no place" like an old abandoned factory into a spectacular home and studio embraced by nature.

A few years ago I travelled to India and Sri Lanka. This is where I fell in love with colonial architecture. This trip was a lifechanging experience and where I got my inspiration to embrace interior design as a career.
Geoffrey Bawa’s architecture

“Isabel López Quesada is one of the interior designers that inspires me the most because of her central idea of authenticity”
